A randomised controlled clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the use of the selective enterosorbent Alpesorb in patients with acute intestinal infections and diarrheal syndrome. It was found that the use of the selective enterosorbent Alpesorb in complex treatment, including antibiotics and rehydration preparations, significantly reduces the duration of diarrheal syndrome and improves clinical symptoms (reduces the intensity of clinical manifestations) compared to the control group.
