We studied the species composition of pathogens causing
purulent diseases of soft tissues. The wound material was isolated from
37 patients, including those with diabetic foot syndrome. The dominant
pathogen is Staphylococcus aureus (50.0%), and its resistance to penicillin
was found in 100% of strains, to ceftriaxone — in 14.3%, to fluoroquinolones
(levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin) — in 7.1%. A study of Staphylococcus
haemolyticus strains has also established a resistance to penicillin
in 100% of cases, to ceftriaxone — in 50%, to fluoroquinolones
(levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin) — in 16.7%. No resistance
of none of these pathogens to amikacin, tobramycin, netilmicin, linezolid,
vancomycin and teicoplanin was observed.
