Author Guidelines

1. Submission Requirements

By submitting a manuscript and upon acceptance by the editor, the author transfers all copyright to the publisher.

2. Manuscript Types

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Original research — results of original clinical or epidemiological studies.
  • Literature reviews and systematic reviews — analytical overviews of current issues in clinical medicine.
  • Case reports — descriptions of rare or instructive clinical observations.
  • Conference proceedings, expert interviews, and healthcare articles — materials from scientific and practical conferences, congresses, interviews with leading specialists, healthcare policy articles, educational lectures within postgraduate medical education, and other materials of broad interest to the medical community.
  • Short communications — preliminary research results, up to 1,500 words.

Experimental research is not published.

3. Manuscript Preparation

4. References

4.1. In-text Citations

References in the text should be cited as numbers in square brackets. All cited sources must be listed in the reference list.

4.2. Reference List — Formatting Examples

Journal articles:

Journal abbreviations should follow Index Medicus standards; after the third author, add et al.; include DOI at the end of each reference, e.g.:

Monographs:

Mackay I., Rose N.R., Diamond B. et al. (2014) Encyclopedia of Medical Immunology. Springer — Verlag New York, 1296 p.

Edited volumes:

Kreutz R., Abd el-Hady Algharably E. (2021) Blood Pressure Control. In: Offermanns S., Rosenthal W. (eds.) Encyclopedia of Molecular Pharmacology. Springer, Cham. doi: 10.1007/978-3-030-57401-7_30.

4.3. References (Transliterated)

A parallel References list in Latin script must follow the main reference list, maintaining the same order and numbering. This list is required for indexing in international databases (Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar).

Formatting rules for References:

  • Numbering and order identical to the main reference list.
  • Journal names abbreviated according to NLM/Index Medicus standards.
  • DOI must be included for each source (if available).
  • Ukrainian-language sources transliterated into Latin script per Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 55 of 27.01.2010 (tool: https://translit.kh.ua/).
