Purpose: to analyze modern sources of scientific information on the manifestations of connective tissue dysplasia (CTD) in the periorbital area and to substantiate the feasibility of using structural periorbitoplasty in young patients as a preventive and reconstructive intervention. Object and methods of the study. A targeted search for scientific articles on the specified topic was carried out in the PubMed, Scopus, Embase and Google Scholar databases for the period 2015–2025. Results. A number of studies confirmed the presence of early age-related changes in the periorbital area in young patients with CTD. It was established that patients with connective tissue dysplastic syndrome have a high risk of premature involutive changes in the periorbital area already at the age of 25–35. Conclusions. Determination of phenotypic signs of CTD should be a standard when planning blepharoplasty. Structural periorbitoplasty is the method of choice in this category of patients, as it provides long-lasting results with a low incidence of complications.
