Purpose: to determine the age-related features of the long-term dynamics of the morphofunctional state of the periungual zone during regular combined manicure. Object of the study: the state of the cuticle and periungual tissues in people of different age groups. A six-month prospective observation was conducted from December 2025 to May 2026 with the participation of 164 people aged 18–60 years, divided into four groups: 18–25, 26–35, 36–45 and 46–60 years. Cuticle dryness, hyperkeratosis, microdamage, reduced elasticity, uneven skin texture, integral index of the morphofunctional state of the periungual zone, and stability of the decorative coating were assessed. Results. It was found that the initial indicators had a pronounced age dependence. After 6 months of regular combined manicure, the frequency of dryness decreased from 58.0% to 18.3%, hyperkeratosis from 43.9% to 15.2%, microdamage from 48.2% to 12.8%, and the integral index increased from 6.0 to 8.6 points. The frequency of premature peeling of the decorative coating decreased from 41.5% to 13.4%. Conclusion. The results obtained indicate that regular combined manicure under controlled intensity of exposure contributes to the improvement of the condition of the periungual zone, and age determines the rate of normalization of the studied indicators.
