Objective: to evaluate clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and treatment effectiveness of postnasal drip syndrome (PNDS) associated with maxillary sinus cysts. Materials and methods. Seven patients with symptoms of PNDS were examined. Clinical assessment, nasal endoscopy, and computed tomography of paranasal sinuses were performed. Results. Maxillary sinus cysts were detected in all patients. Conservative treatment, including nasopharyngeal cryotherapy, was effective in 57% of cases. Surgical treatment resulted in complete symptom resolution in 43% of patients. Conclusion. Maxillary sinus cysts may contribute to the development of PNDS. Combined treatment, including cryotherapy, improves clinical outcomes.
