Dorsopathies are one of the most common causes of chronic pain and reduced work capacity. In a significant part of patients, pain has a mixed nociceptive-neuropathic nature, which requires a comprehensive approach to treatment. The article summarizes current data on the role of neurotropic vitamins of group B (thiamine, pyridoxine and cobalamin) in the management of pain syndrome in dorsopathies. The mechanisms of their neurometabolic, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective action are considered, and clinical data on the effectiveness of combined use with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are also presented. Practical approaches to the phased use of neurotropic vitamins in the complex therapy of dorsopathies are presented.
