Today, the most acute problem in medicine is the problem associated with organic brain lesions in children. Their occurrence can be influenced not only by genetic factors, but also by perinatal lesions, infectious diseases, various injuries and other factors that can injure the child’s brain. Motor disorders in organic brain lesions in children can limit the process of social adaptation and are a strong reason for their disability. Improving the functioning of the musculoskeletal system significantly activates the psychomotor development of children with organic brain lesions and increases their self-care. In case of severe brain lesions, this can greatly facilitate patient care. Patients with organic brain lesions require stable comprehensive treatment by various doctors in the field of orthopedics, neuropathology, pediatrics, psychology, etc. Purpose: disclosure of the current state of the problem of orthopedic care for children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders. Research methods: generalization, systematization, systemic, logical, dialectical, analytical. Results. It was determined that organic brain lesions in modern conditions are considered a serious problem and require more attention and timely intervention. Awareness of the mechanisms of development of organic brain lesions stimulates the development of effective methods of prevention, diagnosis, rehabilitation and orthopedic care, which allows improving the quality of life of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders. It has been established that the development and implementation of personal rehabilitation and orthopedic programs for each individual child makes it possible to achieve significant success in the process of restoring motor functions. Comprehensive assessment of the results of treatment and orthopedic care for children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders allows to ensure high efficiency of rehabilitation and orthopedic measures, as well as to promote their social adaptation in society.
