Resume

Urinary disorders are not only a common problem in Ukraine, but also an important diagnostic and clinical aspect of many diseases of the genitourinary system. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to the progression of the underlying disease and a significant deterioration in the patient’s quality of life. Urinary disorders are often considered one of the first and most noticeable symptoms indicating the presence of pathology. In particular, systematic urges to urinate may indicate cystitis (in women) or benign prostatic hyperplasia (in men).

Purpose of the work. Disclosure of clinical features of urination disorders.

Research methods. Generalization, systematization, systemic, logical, dialectical, analytical.

Results. The clinical features of urination disorders in young and older men were analyzed. It has been established that the clinical features of urination disorders depend on the underlying disease and the mechanism of damage to the urinary system. The main symptoms of urination disorders have been identified, in particular, storage symptoms (associated with impaired urine storage function by the bladder (hyperactivity, decreased elasticity)), voiding symptoms (associated with difficulty in urine outflow through the urethra (narrowing, compression, impaired bladder contraction)), other possible symptoms (pain or burning (a feeling of pain or burning during urination, which often indicates a urinary tract infection (cystitis, urethritis)), changes in urine volume). It has been determined that a complete clinical picture helps the doctor determine the possible localization of the problem (kidneys, bladder, urethra, nervous system) and prescribe appropriate diagnostic tests. These symptoms can occur separately or in various combinations, which helps urologists in establishing the correct diagnosis. The severity of symptoms depends on the cause of the disorder and the stage of the disease.
