Biomechanical aspects of choosing a surgical treatment method for patients with knee osteoarthritis

The article presents the results of surgical treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joint using various methods of surgical correction depending on the localization and nature of the deformity. Based on the analysis of three clinical cases, the effectiveness of a differentiated approach was demonstrated: supracompound corrective osteotomy for varus deformity of the tibia, supracondylar resection osteotomy for valgus deformity of the femur, and total endoprosthesis in the terminal stage of the disease.
