Hemorrhangic stroke: main problems and ways to solve them

Intracerebral hemorrhages (IH) are the most serious of acute cerebrovascular disorders, which often lead to death or disability. The specific gravity in the European population is 10–15% of all cases of cerebral strokes. In Ukraine, the ratio of hemorrhagic strokes to ischemic strokes is 1:3.6. Etiopathogenetic mechanisms and clinical picture are described in many textbooks and monographs. However, in recent decades, the development of modern methods of instrumental diagnosis (neuroimaging) has made a big step in the diagnosis of IH. The issues of recovery rates of lost functions in the acute period of IH, their characteristics depending on the volume of the hematoma, localization (epitentorial, subtentorial) remain unresolved. It requires further study of the development, course, treatment, and prediction of the outcome of IH of supratentorial localization against the background of arterial hypertension. These aspects are influenced by the aggressiveness of arterial hypertension, the age of the patient, treatment with the use of anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents. Methods of treatment (conservative, operative, combined) are important for the positive functioning of the output. The task of the work is to improve the treatment scheme and the functional outcome of patients with acute supratentorial ventricular septal defect against the background of hypertension, and to develop prognostic criteria for the exit of patients in the acute period of ventricular septal defect with a minimal functional defect.
