About some diseases and conditions that can cause acute disorders of cerebral blood circulation

The lecture presents diseases that are rare, but lead to the development of cerebrovascular or cardiovascular pathology (polycythemia, polyarteritis nodosa, coarctation of the aorta, stealing syndrome, Takayasu’s arteritis, moyamoya disease, disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome, etc.). These diseases negatively affect the state of cerebral hemodynamics and often lead to acute or chronic disruption of cerebral blood circulation. The doctor’s task is to detect these diseases, carry out a differential diagnosis, provide emergency medical care and treatment in a multidisciplinary hospital.
