Purpose: to study and analyze the dynamics of some indicators of reproductive health of the female population in Ukraine in the period from 2015 to 2021.
Object and research methods. The object of the study is the reproductive health of the female population of Ukraine. During the work, statistical and bibliosemantic methods were used.
Results. The frequency of abortions in general every year gradually decreased from 9.80 to 5.71 per 1000 women of childbearing age (by 1.7 times). The greatest tendency to decrease in frequency is observed in medical legal abortions up to 12 weeks pregnancy. The incidence of malignant neoplasms of the cervix gradually decreased from 18.0 to 14.8 per 100,000 population (by 1.2 times). The incidence of malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland, uterine body, and ovaries does not have a tendency to decrease. We observe a positive trend in reducing the incidence of sexually transmitted infections: syphilis, gonococcal infection, chlamydial infection, trichomoniasis, urogenital mycoplasmosis.
Conclusion. Positive changes in dynamics may indicate the effectiveness of family planning measures, measures to prevent the incidence of malignant neoplasms of the cervix, as well as to prevent the incidence of sexually transmitted infections. The lack of dynamics in reducing the incidence of malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland, uterus and ovaries may indicate a stabilization of the situation regarding the incidence of this disease.
