Based on the analysis of the relationship between the nociceptive and antinociceptive systems of the brain stem, which take place in the structure of the pain syndrome in dental diseases, the importance of the relationship of these systems with the predominance of nociception system was confirmed. It is proposed to study the electroencephalographic pattern in incurable pain syndrome of dental origin in order to clarify the nature of bioelectrical activity of the brain and determine the predominant effects of nociception system, as well as the use of drugs that affect the normalization of nociception and antinociception relationship. The use of these drugs will contribute to a positive therapeutic effect in the treatment of these pain syndromes.
