Features of rehabilitation of children with organic brain injuries accompanied by motor disorders

Currently, there is an increase in congenital diseases among children, despite the improvement of medical care. This is primarily due to the aggressive influence of environmental factors, chronic, hereditary diseases, as well as harmful habits of parents during pregnancy. In turn, this entails prematurity of the child, which repeatedly causes various disorders of the functioning of its organs. It is worth noting that in recent years the problem of diseases in children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders has become exceptionally relevant, and is especially acute in premature children. The re­levance of the problem associated with the rehabilitation of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders also lies in the lack of unified approaches at all stages of rehabilitation (from the beginning of treatment in intensive care units to outpatient observation). Because of this, today this problem is of exceptional importance in the context of improving children’s health and preventing their disability. Purpose of the work: disclosure of the features of the rehabilitation of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders. Research methods: generalization, systematization, systemic, logical, dialectical, analytical. Results. The main goal of the rehabilitation of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders is disclosed, which is to ensure correction, regeneration of motor disorders, the ability to move independently, as well as to ensure social adaptation while taking into account their individual characteristics. It has been determined that an important role in working with children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders is played by the use of a systemic approach to rehabilitation and therapy, which should not be limited to a certain method or a set of stereotypical monotonous exercises. A scheme for the rehabilitation examination of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders is presented, which allows for an accurate assessment of the motor, psychoemotional and self-care spheres, as well as distinguishing the rehabilitation process of such a child. The most effective methods of rehabilitation of children with organic brain lesions accompanied by motor disorders are characterized. The advantages of such methods are determined.
